The FR-W1600 is an IP65 rated waterproof enclosure that permits this reader to be used for outdoor applications. It features a reliable, durable, and highly accurate fingerprint sensor with a specialized algorithm providing less than 1.5-second user recognition. This standalone system works without a computer; complete setup and programming can be performed via the keypads and embedded firmware.

Includes audio-visual indications for acceptance and rejection of valid/invalid fingerprints. It provides relay outputs for electric locks and alarms, alongside inputs for door status sensors and exit switches. It supports multiple time zones and personnel groups for flexible access management. The internal Proximity Card or Mifare Card reader allows for dual-factor authentication.
